The very heart of the manufactory consists of the fabrication of valuable wall products. The lanes are painted and printed, dusted and dabbed, bronze and silver-plated. The comprehensive selection of WELTER wallpapers is collected in compiled collections which, for their part, are sorted according to topics or type of coating. Unusually composed in colour and shape, precious metals and alloys like gold, silver, copper, brass, platinum and steel are used, but also marble dust and glass. At times it sparkles comfortingly, at times coldly, at times swanky, at times reservedly and cool. There are no stylish restrictions for WELTER. Be it classical, modern or avant-garde, the repertoire is widely diversified: from the matt glimmering one-colour wallpaper all the way to the luxurious golden-sparkling ornamental wallpaper for in a castle.
Apart from the in-house collection of wallpaper which already covers a large range of design potentials, individual solutions are worked out for and with other companies. The way in which the manufactory works allows it to cater for every special wish. Here any mount of patterns and colours, also in small volumes can be produced for projects. Thus WELTER reconstructs historic wallpaper along the lines of a sample or master illustration, makeswallpaper in line with drafts provided or paints the wall lanes in trompe–l’oeil manner.
Identity and personality is hidden within every artistic product. Thus unique productions become the conditions, and a unicum must not only bear the manufactory sign, but also prove to have it. It is only a flow of colour application or an uneven point worked in as if by chance by the mode of production that makes the product authentic, unique and thus qualitative of high value and precious.
