Furniture

There are even fewer limits here than in the design of walls. Furniture is the finishing touch of an interior. It may stand here today and there tomorrow over the years and – not unimportant – it can be passed on.

Furniture surfaces have been part of the manufacture’s core work from the beginning. At this point I would recommend a look at the “Veneers” section.

For furniture surfaces we distinguish two categories: the restrained surface coverings on the one hand, and the more expressionistic surfaces on the other. The latter are above all the strongly three-dimensional ones such as Sharp or Alligator. Very often we also make object-specific surfaces; this is often the case for yachts or hotel projects. Presidential suites are gladly enhanced by our Wandunikate on cabinets.

While freestanding solitaires generally live from smaller, expressive materials, cabinet walls are often designed more quietly. Dressing rooms or wall panelling are frequently designed with fine craquelure, which we also produce as a kind of veneer.

The same applies here as for doors: precise coordination with the craftspeople is essential. We can adapt to most circumstances, which presupposes that we know them. In particular, cuts and edge treatments need to be discussed. Furniture parts have even been sent to us from Florida and Doha to Berlin; we returned them fully applied. We are always concerned with the perfect solution and a partnership-based way of working together.
